Tuesday, November 23, 2010 7:45 AM, CST This is going to be a brief post as I am doing this on my phone but we wanted to update everyone as soon as we could. Nate has not been comfortable for several days now and on Sunday night things took a turn for the worse. We came to London Monday morning and an MRI confirmed what we already knew in our hearts. The cancer has spread again and we are out of options for our warrior. As with his other tumours things are happening alarmingly fast and we do not have much time left with our little super hero. Nate is being kept comfortable in the hospital while the team works on the logistics of getting us home so he can be where he belongs and hopefully this can happen quickly. I am in need of some prayers. I have been close friends with a woman
for about six months now. I have known her and worked with her for 2-3
years now, but never looked at her as more then friends because I was
in a longterm relationship durring that time. Me and her became closer
and intiment about 3-4 months ago. I have wanted to have a
relationship with her, but she is too afraid of getting hurt again.
She got hurt really bad in her first and second marrage. Altho we have
been intiment, she refuses to say we are dating or in a relationship.
When I ask her why, she claims it is because she is afraid of getting
hurt again. The most she will tell me is that she cares about me a
lot, but her actions show different. Her actions, at times, make me
believe she is falling in love with me. Everytime she shows this much
to me, she all of a sudden realizes what is happening and she pushes
away from me until she feels confortable again. She will never admit
to me that this is happening, but I see it with my own eyes. I’ve
tried to tell and show her that I will not hurt her like the others
did. She seems like she wants to believe it, but can’t. I feel like
she feels like if she shows me much of how she really feels, that I
will take advantage of it. I would love to treat this woman good for
the rest my life, but as hard as I try to break through the walls she
has up, I can’t. I have gotten closer than anyone has

About a week ago, we found out she was pregnant with my baby. I can
tell she has had, and is having, conflicting feeling about what to do.
She seems set on getting an abortion. She claims she can’t have
another kid. I’ve told her I will be there for her and the kid, but
she told me that she can’t bring down her wall enough to have a
relationship with anyone because she is terrified of getting hurt
again. She has not talked to me much in the last 2-3 days, so I
don’t really know what is going on with her. She has pushed away
from me some since we found out. I am sure a lot of things are running
through her head right now. She has said things to me that makes me
believe the thought of keeping the baby is crossing her mind now and
then.

Will you pray for us and the baby. Pray that she decides to keep the
baby and that she lowers her walls and realizes her true feeling
toward me and she overcomes her fears so I can be there for my child.
