In light of the recent events in Tibet I’ve decided to post the entire documentary I shot in India about Tibetan refugees who had just escaped from Chinese torture in Tibet. It’s available at Netflix, and other online areas, but it’s more important that the words of these eyewitnesses is put into the public airspace. Tibetans have been tortured, beaten and jailed since the Chinese invaded their country, I have footage of a doctor who left because he could no longer sterilize Tibetan woman in good conscience. Most of these interviews are children or monks – their stories are heartbreaking. I am a deputy for a neighboring county and we responded to the call for assistance to Smithville, MS. This is only about half of the area of devastation and the short footage and pictures I took still doesn’t do it justice. Private First Class Miller was the vehicle driver in the lead vehicle of a Ground Assault Convoy when his vehicle was hit by an IED. Private First Class Miller died instantly from the explosion. Other members of Private First Class Miller’s crew also sustained serious injuries and were evacuated. Private First Class Joseph Gracia was the Gunner at the time his vehicle was hit.
