Francis M — Good evening people. I am getting prepared for my 4th Chemotherapy cycle, and I will be admitted tonight at The Medical City. I will be doing some tests tomorrow, wish me luck. Friday I begin my 4th cycle which is a Hi-Dose kind, as will be taking 6 grams of Cytarabin™ a day every other day for 3 days. I will be at the 14th floor of the TMC, as usual. I brought alot reading materials (bible included!) and dvds to keep me company while I do my treatment. I will be doing my radiation treatment by February and my PBSCT (Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplant) will be done by March. I look forward to the pain as I know my journey is on full speed ahead. I will not be bold to say that without asking a favor from you all. PLEASE PRAY for me as I undergo treatment. Your prayers, as always, have sustained me. Here is a look at last year’s GraceLife Mission trip to India. Now in 2009 we are gearing up for our mission to India January 16-31. India has a great need for Bible-based teaching, especially about the gospel and the message of grace. We will be assisting Daniel Oswald of Crossworld Ministries in training about 400 pastors in the grace message. This will be the first exposure to the grace message for most of these pastors. The team is Pastor Bart Howell (Eagles View Church, Saginaw, TX), Shelly and Rich Keller (EVC), Pastor Rodney Cripps (Stough Memorial Baptist Church, Pineville, NC), Wes Dunham (EVC), and Daniel Oswald. In light of the recent events in Tibet I’ve decided to post the entire documentary I shot in India about Tibetan refugees who had just escaped from Chinese torture in Tibet. It’s available at Netflix, and other online areas, but it’s more important that the words of these eyewitnesses is put into the public airspace. Tibetans have been tortured, beaten and jailed since the Chinese invaded their country, I have footage of a doctor who left because he could no longer sterilize Tibetan woman in good conscience. Most of these interviews are children or monks – their stories are heartbreaking. Nate has not been comfortable for several days now and on Sunday night things took a turn for the worse. We came to London Monday morning and an MRI confirmed what we already knew in our hearts. The cancer has spread again and we are out of options for our warrior. As with his other tumours things are happening alarmingly fast and we do not have much time left with our little super hero. Nate is being kept comfortable in the hospital while the team works on the logistics of getting us home so he can be where he belongs and hopefully this can happen quickly. Our hearts are breaking with this news but it hurts us even more watching our little boy suffer. Our North Korean brothers and sisters are starving and often work in slave camps and also die of extreme cold.
